Precision Forensic Testing has advanced the overall and barrel measuring process with the integration of a digital read out system. This system allows for quick and easy reading of the overall and barrel length of firearms. Each DMD is certified by an ISO 17025 laboratory and includes certification. The Digital Measuring Device (DMD) is 48 inches long and allows for a almost any firearm to be measured. Also included for calibration purposes is a 24 inch NIST traceable rod.
